Wendy has been drawing since she was a child and she took every art class available in school. She remembers when she was a child her mother would tell her not to draw on the walls and now she gets paid to do wall art; if her mom could have only seen the future! She was in the art guild and made her first money on her own by selling graphite portraits while in high school. After high school, she took oil painting classes from a talented local artist named Barbara Dickerson who is a student of Dalhart Windberg. Since then, she has expanded her knowledge to include acrylics on canvas, murals, and (most recently) foam sculpting. She continues to learn and grow with each piece and wakes up every morning excited about current and future projects.
Richard is a talented artist who is self-taught. He draws and paints using pencils, markers, watercolors, and acrylics. His acrylic on glass piece Saltwater Dance won a 2nd place People’s Choice award in Southern Heartland Art Gallery’s 2015 Artful Harvest competition. His “eye” for composition is invaluable. His willingness to push to new heights, challenge himself and everyone around him, and work hard has helped to bring Wendy’s lifelong dream of creating art full time into a reality.
Richard and Wendy
They were born and raised in Georgia, went to the same high school, and once even worked at the same manufacturing plant at the same time. Although their lives seemed to run parallel, they didn’t meet until 2012. They were married on Jekyll Island in 2016 surrounded by family and close friends. Their mutual love for art has taken what was a hobby and propelled it into a business that they are happy to share. They love what they do and thank the Lord for their wonderful clients and amazing life. They look forward to each new project and how they will grow artistically and personally.
